Tanya was very friendly and professional. We met her in Central Park for a short engagement photo session. She made us feel comfortable and the turnover time on the photos was very quick! Tanya exceeded my expectations! I appreciated that she went out of her way to put my mind at ease. We walked through the site where our wedding pictures would be taken in advance and we were able to discuss different possible scenarios/poses. Tanya thinks outside the box and was able to see potential, especially in the outdoor setting. Tanya captured all of the special moments prior to the ceremony, throughout the ceremony and at our receptions. Tanya was professional and very gracious working with our wedding party, family and guests. I had no reason to worry at all because she listened to our requests and did her absolute best to deliver. She was prompt in providing hundreds of edited pictures of our very special day. I would highly recommend her photography. She will work with you to capture your special occasion beautifully!

Do yourself and your family a favor and have Tanya take your pictures! She has a great sense of humor and is an expert at making her clients feel at ease. She listened to our preferences and from that created a beautiful story. She has a keen eye for great locations and poses... and knows how to make you enjoy the whole process! Our couples photo shoot was a wonderful memory and are some of my favorite photos of us. I look forward to our next session with Velardo Photography!

Tanya has been taking pictures of my family for 6 years now. We just finished our most recent family pictures with her as well as pictures of our newborn baby girl. She is amazing at finding beautiful backgrounds and capturing your story. We are so thankful to have her capture our family moments each year.

Tanya did the senior pictures of my two girls. The pictures were outstanding. The girls (the toughest critics) loved them and were proud to show them to everyone. My wife and I really liked the pictures. The creativity of the poses, the work with lighting and color, the expressions, everything was perfect. I fully recommend Tanya Velardo as a photographer.
