FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If a product appeals to me, I will happily adjust my rate to fit into the budget of a client. That being said, my typical day rate is $900 and my hourly is $200.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, after settling on a rate and date, unless the project is self-explanatory, I'll ask the client to send over some examples of imagery they like or would like to emulate in the shoot. During the shoot, I always show the shots I'm taking to make sure we are on the same visual page. Depending on the kind of shoot, I'll send edits or proofs within a day of the shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to NYU for film and self-taught myself everything about photography and lighting that I didn't learn in school. The best education, though, has been experience and having shot thousands of properties and hundreds of events, products and portraits I have learned a lot - and hope to continue learning with every shoot I do.
