I make voice study fun! My students are really learning to breathe, therefore making incredible wonderful sounds and tones.
I love watching a dancer who has stood very straight and in perfect dancing form, wiggle and get some real sounds out.
And making young gentlemen speak with a real manly
tone. Shock.
I get such enjoyment from watching my students really start to make headway learning how to sing with good technique and breathing control. I love hearing that that people have practiced!

Bourque was great to work with. She creates a very relaxed environment and helps you find the voice you never knew you had. I never thought I was able to sing, but after a few lessons with her, I realized that I actually had a decent voice hidden away!

My daughter loves Bourque, not only as her voice teacher but as a person as well. Bourque really takes the time to connect personally with her students, and my daughter has nothing but great things to say about her. She approaches teaching through a fun aspect, not as a regimen. She makes you feel comfortable and brings out that inner confidence which one usually hides. Bourque prepared my daughter for Apollo, and she really surprised me with what my daughter is capable of doing. Her techniques and training is a unique, yet effective. I would recommend Bourque to anyone, in a heartbeat.

Bourque is an exceptional voice coach. As an inexperienced singer trying to find my voice she made me feel comfortable and worked at my level to give me the singing confidence I needed. I definitely recommend Bourque from beginners to advanced; she has a beautiful voice.

Bourque is a super star voice teacher. She is encouraging, hard-working, insightful and refreshing. In addition to breathing exercises that most instructors would do, her techniques really help you get your best voice to come through. She tailors her techniques to each student which is so important because each of us is very different. Am very happy to have her as my instructor.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is a fun one for sure. In the first moments I make sure the student knows that I will touch them if we are in person - or if by Zoom I will point to where i want them to push so they know and understand the muscle work needed. I will show you the way we will work, I sing and you sing. This really really shows that you can do it! I have designed new ways that explain what I am doing, the tricks and techniques I use are after 30 years of lessons, as a new student I would never expect you to sing the exercises I do yet, you will be thrilled with your sound!!
