The first lesson was just as informational as interactive. Broke down topics in a unique and relatable way. Very aware when it comes to finding the small nuances that you may have never been aware of. I felt twice as comfortable singing after just the first lesson. Valuable.Oct 6, 2019Verified
You can’t ask for someone better!!! Words could not express how much this man has helped me! Now I’ve been singing all my life, and i never really knew I have been singing incorrectly this whole time, like I’ve been pushing too hard to reach certain notes and that put a lot of strain on my voice. Also I’ve discovered that I have a clarity issue. Apparently I am a very tense person, always stressing, always doing more than I can handle and I have not been taking care of myself or voice for that matter. I’ve learned that there are different ways, not styles, of singing. Like I have problems switching from higher notes to lower notes by not letting go. It’s hard to explain. But I feel it. Then I end up falling off key. But yea... now since I’ve been seeing him, listening to my recordings in the studio, I hear that you can hear me clearer. My tone is purer, as if I sing with ease. And you can hear everything I say... ooo progress!!! And like I’m trying to figure out how to breathe while I’m singing without making a sound. See me, i never had a lesson. I mean I’ve sang in a church choir and stuff but I think I learned how to sing by just mocking other singers. And I’ve never was able to find my own voice. Like when I sang people’s songs I would sing it like how they did. Until I started writing my own music, I started to find myself. But yea back to this guy... This guy knows what he’s doing. I trust him cuz he has shown me that with these vocal exercises, he has helped me find myself, find my voice, did I mention that it’s very therapeutic. Yea he be my therapist sometimes. Lol. But he is very warming. Very professional. Only you can change you but he can give you some tips and tricks on how to make you a master of your voice! I’m trying to be an artist. And when he asked me how I found him I gave him this bullsh*t that I saw his reviews. I lied. He just was the first to answer my call and when I met him the first day I knew he was it. So don’t waste another minute reading another review. Just book one session and see for yourself. Best of luck! Btw... u r on the right track cuz u hear reading this, looking for answers. You may be great already but why not find if there are any weaknesses, or u just curious to make you better or learn something new just to do it. Like how exercise makes your body better, vocal exercising makes your singing better. I’m still learning, but still after every session I learn something new, I am shocked by what I can do, I’m at ease, guyssss seriously it’s therapy. Gabriel is the kind of teacher that starts by getting to know who you are, and the reason you are looking to take voice lessons. His incredible empathy immediately puts you at ease from the first few minute you meet him, and you know you can trust him to help you improve your singing no matter what level you're at. He is amazingly intuitive and able to pinpoint the issues and explain them in a way that's detailed but not overwhelming. He is also very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the voice and will not spare any details. I am a very shy person, so it is very important to me that my teacher is empathetic and can help build up my confidence, and Gabriel adapted his teaching to this right away. Because I am shy, I had trouble singing out, but Gabriel was able to help me discover a part of my voice that I did not know existed. If you're looking for a versatile, knowledgeable, friendly, skilled teacher, look no further!Jun 26, 2019

Gabriel has a magical quality about his technique and approach. He leaves a lasting impression with his professionalism and his ability to dissect exactly what it is you need. If you are looking for someone to not only teach you how to sing but to also change your life in more ways than one, this is exactly where you need to be. I couldn't be more grateful of my time with Gabriel. He’s truly a gem.Jun 6, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?30-minute lessons are $60, 45-minute lessons are $85 and 1-hour lessons are $110. I require 24 hours notice for cancelations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing I like to do is find out my student’s “Why.” The clearer we both are on *why* you want to train your voice and what your connection, goals and intention with singing are, the easier it is to make progress. Clarity and communication are very important. Then I walk you through some custom diagnostic vocal exercises to assess your strengths and weaknesses and determine what exercises would be best to focus on to take your singing to the next level. I work in a very intuitive, yet methodic way. I also enjoy educating the student on how the voice works, but only as much or as little as they are interested in. The most important aspect of lessons is the actual vocalizing (vocal exercising).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and I focused most of my education on voice. I took singing lessons every semester, both in college (the traditional classical curriculum) and out of college (pop, rock, R&B, jazz and contemporary singing). I have studied voice with over a dozen renowned contemporary voice teachers, both privately and in group sessions, workshops and master classes. I have vocalized thousands of hours and continue to study and hone my craft on a daily basis. The college degree was just the beginning of my education and training. I never stop learning about the voice and singing.
