I am a native speaker of Spanish, and I hold a bachelor's degree in English-Spanish translation as well as a graduate degree in Education.
I have over 25 years of experience as a tutor / coach / teacher (primary, secondary, high school and College education). Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Columbia Business School among others.
I try to be as flexible as possible with scheduling. I meet with students 7 days a week during mornings, afternoons and evenings. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I am often able to reschedule a student within this time frame. Late cancellations or no show are charged in full.
What I enjoy the most is being around people from all walks of life, developing their confidence and seeing their progress.

Gloria's method of teaching is both simple and easy to process. She customized her approach specifically to my needs to maximize my take-away. Every week Gloria prepared a slide presentation that was tailored to our lesson, she would then send those slides to me after the class to study and assist in my progression. Gloria met me at work once a week, which for someone who is busy was very convenient. All around I have had a great experience and recommend Gloria for any level of teaching Spanish.

Gloria has been such a great tutor. She has truly been a blessing! Gloria created lessons based on my needs, tailoring each class around what I wanted out of the class. She's patient, encouraging and pleasant to learn from. We formed a nice bond and I always look forward to our lessons. I do have discounts for more than one student or for lessons taken more than once a week.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first lesson, assessment is carried out to determine the student's level and learning style. Then, if he/she is happy with the first lesson, I design a customized program and we schedule the lessons.
