- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We always carry out an initial interview via Zoom to find out what the student specific needs are. We ask very precise questions so that we can work together to achieve your goals. Our instructors are all Spanish native speakers and highly trained in teaching Spanish. They are also passionate about what they do and get professional training constantly. Most of our instructors hold a Master Degree and extensive experience teaching Spanish. Others hold a Doctoral Degree in Teaching Spanish. Those are the key differences when taking lessons with Language Master Group. We work with the best instructors and provide them with professional training to make their students achieve their goals. All our 1 on 1 lessons are 5 weeks or 10 weeks. You have up to 4 different options of personalized course, depending on the weekly frequency you want to meet with your professor or teacher. We offer customized 1 on 1 sessions starting at low as $35/lesson for children 6 to 13 years old and 1 on 1 lessons for 14 year old and over starting at $45/lesson. Right now we are also running a special only for Thumbtack students in which they get a FREE demo lesson (totally free of charge), without any commitment. If you check our web your will see the most popular packages range between 10 and 40 lessons via Zoom. Lessons are 30 minutes long for children and teenagers up to 13 years old, and 45 minutes long for 14 years old and over. If you’re an adult and you'd rather meet once a week, the intensive special is your best option to get to your goals in 10 weeks, meeting twice a week in double sessions (90 minutes). We accommodate to your availability. We also offer a Special Intensive option for student at school up to 13 years old who want to boost their Spanish in 10 weeks and get better grades. The Intensive course for students up to 13 years old meets 3 times a week in 45 minutes sessions each. Every package is totally personalized, and the regular price for adults is $65/lesson, but you can get OPTION 4, which goes down to $45/lesson. Fees for children up to 13 years old start at $40/lesson with the Intensive Special and fees for teenagers 14 years old and up start at $45/lesson. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always carry out an initial interview to find out what the student specific needs are. We offer a demonstrative FREE 20-30 minute FREE demo lesson/consultation. The lesson is made via Zoom, the same way as our regular lessons. The new student simply has to contact us via email or phone and we will arrange the day/s and time that works best. Before starting our lessons, we also like sending the student a placement test to verify the real level and a form to fill out about the student's background and specific interest so that I can customize every session. It does not matter what time Zone you live in. We work with students in the East Coast, West Coast and evening in Europe and Latin America. We accommodate to your time Zone and availability.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am María, the founder of Language Master Group. I hold a Doctorate in Spanish Language and Literature and have a Masters Degree in Teaching Foreign Languages. In addition, I earned my Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages and my Business degree, which enable me to teach English and Spanish to professionals in a variety of sectors. All my team members have similar credentials. We are all Spanish native speakers and most of the members in my team hold a Master Degree in Spanish. Some also a Doctoral Degree. We all have been teaching for many years and we are specialized on a particular age group: children, teenagers or adults/professionals. “I founded Language Master Group so that students could learn language, be exposed to culture and benefit from the combination of knowledge and expertise that my team has developed over many years.
