Introduction: Would you like to get a trial session for free? Link to schedule is at the bottom🔽 ✅First - I am not an agency. When you hire me, you work with me directly. I realize that other pros may charge less, like ($125 her hour), but you must understand that your kids don’t get to work with the ‘founder’ at this price. Instead, the founder will get a part-time subcontractor ( a student, a former teacher, or actor) who will work for $40-45 per hour (while you pay $125 +). The problem with the agency model is that the tutor will be $40 committed and $40 invested in your child’s success. It’s just human nature. It will take this tutor more hours to explain concepts and what’s worse - won’t bring high scores. ✅ Second - Guarantee. I know my clients expect results, and I provide results to all my students. After an evaluation, I can estimate the score increase and give a personal guarantee of the score improvement. I usually look at where the student is losing points and can estimate that loss to decrease by 50%. In the event that the score doesn’t go up as I guaranteed - you’ll get your money back‼️‼️‼️💯 Why am I so confident? In the past 10 years of tutoring, I have proven to myself and 100’s of my clients that my method yields results. ✅ Third - results. What sets me apart? 🙌🏻Results! 🙌🏻On average, my students improve their score by 4.6 + points 😯on the ACT, 190+ points on the SAT😯😯 and 2 points on the ISEE stanine. How do I get this done? I know the tests inside out and I can teach your child exactly what he or she needs to know. Not more! ✅ Fourth - I tutor to the Test. Many people that say they can tutor the SAT/ACT are usually (90% of the time) are just good at math or English. I have developed a system of eliminating the wrong answers and getting the right one. It saves time and gets realists. I have taken both the SAT and ACT 5 and 6 times correspondingly. I have taken the SAT on March 9th 2019 and registered for the ACT in June 2019. I always stay up to date with the latest changes to the test and I do this FULL TIME‼️‼️‼️ And if you're tired of tutors who work through agencies🏦 and produce lackluster results, I promise that your child's scores will be my personal priority when I work with you. ✅ Fifth - trial session. Here is the link to schedule a free session with me. No strings attached.

ESL (English as a Second Language) Lessons

I feel so lucky to have found Katya to tutor me. Katya took ample time to discuss my language goals. It is great that she is working with me one-on-one to tailor the tutoring sessions to meet my needs. Not only is her comprehension of the finer points of English excellent, but she is also able to explain pronunciations clearly. She cares about the progress of her students and she assigns custom-tailored homework. On top of that, she’s also very knowledgeable about the language and about language theory. Highly recommend!

Test Prep Services

Katya is a great tutor who has ways that help me remember vocabulary words for the SAT test very easily, and she is very clear with math concepts that I may be struggling with, or don't understand entirely. She keeps in touch with me at all times, and I am never afraid to ask her any questions. Ever since she has started tutoring me, I always feel confident that I am in good hands, and that I will ace the SAT!

SAT is NO joke! Katya is a laser-focused tutor and helped me get a HIGH score. She actually takes SAT and ACT tests herself and always scores in the 99th percentile. I don’t know any other tutors that do that. She is very smart, but also very cool. We saw each other twice a week for about 5 months before my test. It made a difference of almost 300 points! Use her!!!

This is not your regular tutoring! This is brain science wrapped in an ACT lesson! I had my younger brother work with Katya for 6 months and she helped him make a huge improvement in his ACT Score. I have never seen my brother so happy with his results.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$150 dollars an hour. No other costs. I allow you to pay as you go, per lesson, so you won't have to pay a large sum upfront and not know what you're getting your teen into. If you want to continue lessons, we continue. If you don't want to continue, you won't be hassled to continue and won't need to lobby for a refund for unused hours or anything. Some parents want to prepay for sessions to secure their spot in my schedule and get a discount. I offer 10% discounts on 10 - session packages.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically begin with a phone call where I speak to the parent. If there is a practice test/ neuropsych/ other tests score for me to look at, I ask the parent to send that over. Then, we schedule a trial session. During that trial session, both the child and the parent are present and I demonstrate 2 concepts from math and reading that I will improve client’s scores. Based on the trial session, the client chooses if they want to hire me. If they do, we schedule our next session and a set of practice tests before the real test.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken graduate courses in education at NYU and Teacher's College Columbia.
