My sons middle school math training did not adequately prepare him for the double math he was faced with as a freshman at Stuyvesant H.S., and he quickly fell behind in the first couple months of high school. Our mentors calm and steady hand helped guide him back to math mastery. I will certainly try to use Allen Mentoring again when it comes time for my kids to study for the SATs.

Allen has been an amazing tutor to my 9 year old son. My son is now on the advanced level math because of Allen's help. He listens to my input and works with my son to map out the best course for him. I highly recommend his help and wisdom! Mother of a 4th grader

Allen has been working with my 7th grade daughter for 8 months. He's fun yet also able to keep her on track with her math needs. He's focused, sharp, and can handle any questions and problems that she brings--and shows her multiple ways to tackle a problem. He's equally sharp with coding skills. Allen's always on time, extremely professional and I know she feels very confident in her math abilities because of his work with her. I highly recommend him.

Allen has been tutoring my 13 year old son, who is now in 7th grade and attends East Side Middle School, in math since Dec 2013. Allen initially came to our home to tutor, but in order to work with my sons changing schedule, he devised a way to tutor him via Skype. This continues to work out great. My sons average was raised approx 7-10 points as a result of Allens tutoring and my sons hard work. He helped my sons confidence in Math and test taking and gave him advice regarding study tips and classwork. We are all happy with Allen, and look forward to continuing with him!"

Allen is an excellent tutor. He has really helped my daughter in 7th grade. Allen knows the public school curriculum and guides his students so that they have a full understanding of what they are learning. When Allen works with my daughter he supports her through anything she doesn't understand so that she completes the work herself. Allen is very professional but has a nice demeanor with kids. Allen conducts his teaching so that he commands respect and seriousness about the lesson while making kids feel at ease while working with him.
