I'm not sure who wrote these reviews as my experience with this company was not very positive. In fact, it was BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best. I made an appointment with this company to have my 8 X 10 polypropylene rug cleaned on MLK day as it has some rust on it. I was quoted a price of $100 by the person who scheduled the appointment over the phone. The process to make the appointment went very well. However, it went south when the person who arrived (he said his name was Joe ... the man with the short pony tail) walk in to my apartment. He was rude and most importantly started quoting higher prices for reasons that were not true. 1) He claimed the price will have to increase because the rug is made out of wool. From this statement alone it showed me this man does not know the difference between a wool rug and a polypropylene rug. He continued to argue with me until I showed him the tag underneath the rug stating 100% polypropylene. When he realize he was wrong, he went on to say that he will have to charge more because i live on a second floor walk-up. When i was making the appointment, no one asked me if my apartment building had elevators. Nowhere during the phone conversation the lady on the phone stated that I would be charge more because my apartment is on the second floor. When I stated that, he continued on to say the rust won't come off if he went ahead with the cleaning. Basically when he realized i was catching him on his Bull***, he tried to persuade me not to get it clean because the rust won't come off. This man was rude and the company wasted my time. If you are planning to rip people off, you should inform this to customers doing the initial phone conversation. Let customers know you will charge more, if they live on a non-elevator building. Also, make sure the person who will conduct the service, have all the information that was provided by the customer during the phone conversation. The guy should have known that my rug was polypropylene and about the rust stain as this information was relayed while i was making the appointment. This company does not seem credible and only seems to service you if they are able to rip you off. Use their company at your own risk.

I have been using carpet cleaning nyc for the past year. I found them online and called since they are organic and have great reviews. I was very pleased with the cleaning results, what I liked best is that the office made me feel welcome and answered every question I had as well as met my budget and did an amazing job. Great job done by carpet cleaning nyc, the crew came right on time 9.15 on a 9-11 window. The team leader came in to take a look at our rugs and gave me a few cleaning options since we did have some pet stains. I opted for a deep rug cleaning option and I am glad I did it did cost a bit more then the basic price given but the results were great, worth every penny.
