FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We work on fixed-price proposals with a strict zero change-order policy, which means the price you sign at contract is the price you pay at completion. No surprise add-ons, no mid-project upsells, no "we found something" markups. We offer free in-home consultations and itemized quotes so you can compare us line-by-line against other contractors. Payment plans and financing are available for larger projects through approved lenders.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Free in-home consultation: we walk the space, listen to what you want, take measurements and photos. 2. Detailed itemized quote within 3 business days: scope of work, materials, labor, timeline, payment schedule. 3. Contract signing with a fixed price and clear milestones. 4. Permits filed where required (we handle DOB filings). 5. Project kickoff: protective covering installed, daily clean-up standard. 6. Weekly progress updates with photos. 7. Final walkthrough and punch list before final payment. One point of contact from start to finish so you always know who to call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands-on experience renovating, managing, and maintaining NYC residential buildings under our own ownership for years before opening to clients. Licensed by NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection as a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC #2134434), which requires ongoing compliance, education, and renewal. Fully insured ($1M/$2M general liability) and bonded ($20K surety bond). Our team includes vetted electrical, plumbing, tile, and finish-work subcontractors that we have worked with for multiple projects.
