FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are fairly lower than others you may come across because of a few reasons: 1. I'm new to NYC (relocated from sunny Florida in July 2019). I'm working on establishing a strong portfolio of work in a new city, so potential clients have a better vision of what their portraits will look like in the NYC setting. 2. I have 5 years of experience as a photographer and have taken several college courses covering the subject. However, I currently have 6 months of experience as a full-time photographer (started offering photography services in Jan 2019). Previously, my income came solely from working as a full-time video editor. I rediscovered my genuine passion for photography this year and added photography as I service I offer. 3. I'm still fairly new to the Thumbtack community but I'm hopeful that with your help my presence on this platform will flourish in 2019! I share this information with you in an effort to be fully transparent and honest. You are getting a great deal BUT it's NOT to good to be true! You'll still be receiving high-quality, social medi/print ready files, professional custom edited images, and warm comforting customer service. (:
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting and connecting with new clients. The process is no different than how I would work with any client. I explain my the services in detail, answer any questions the client may have, and then get to work delivering excellent service and beautiful photographs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Film and 5 years of experience as a Portrait Photographer and Video Editor.
