Dave has recently done a variety of jobs in my house as I prepare to potentially place it on the job market. It included everything from painting hallways, and bedrooms, to installing light fixtures, lineoleum, and wood trim/molding. I have known Dave as an outstanding student leader at RIT, and also as Manager of Taylor Rental. He is easy to talk with, takes good notes, and has the technical experience to the jobs for which he commits, and commits only to those jobs he can do. Unlike some handymen that I have had in the past, he shows up! And he is on time.
Moreover, while Dave may be new to the Handyman profession, he is not new to the exprience of extended home repairs, as evidenced in the beautiful home where he and his family live, done mostly by Dave's renovation skills. Not only is he skilled, but he has the right tools and equipment to do the job properly; if - when working on a job - he sees a repair that needs to be addressed, or some instructions that are counterintuitive....he stops, (calls if need be), texts, or asks. He can juggle multiple tasks: for example, working on a repair, while waiting for the paint to dry. His estimates are pretty accurate - and if not, he lets you know as soon as they come to light. At the end of each day, Dave cleans up and neatly puts equipment and supplies away.
Finally, he is trustworthy. My projects required an extended time, and I work during the day. I gave the key to my house and he would let him self in, and out as required each day.
I strongly recommend him.
