I am a Certified, Positive Reinforcement Dog Obedience/Behavior Modification Trainer. I am a graduate of Animal Behavior College. I also have 6 years experience in the pet sitting business. I have volunteered in dog rescue and with shelter dogs for almost 3 years. I am first aid and CPR certified for dogs and cats. I am insured and bonded. I am background checked through a number of agencies. I am able to administer medication, including insulin. I have owned my own pets for 20 years. I thoroughly enjoy caring for pets and training dogs, they are my passion! While pet sitting, I want pet owners to enjoy their time away and know their precious pets are in the best hands. I believe that pets are much happier and less stressed being cared for in their own home . They remain on their regular schedule and they are not confined to a crate or pen in a kennel. I care for your pets as if they were my own! I thoroughly enjoy dog obedience training because I know a well behaved and obedient dog is a dog that will remain in your home and not relinquished due to behavior problems. I decided to become a dog obedience trainer after seeing 100's of dogs relinquished to shelters due to behavior problems. Many of them do not make it out. I've volunteered in rescue and was Dog Coordinator and saw this first hand on a daily basis. My goal is to reduce the number of homeless dogs and assist you in having a well behaved, well mannered dog that will enjoy a lifetime of love with you!
