Matt and his crew built a fence and gate for me. Matt was great. Very responsive, easily accessible, and willing to answer questions. The job was delayed from the projected start day due to unpredictable March weather. Matt called me and let me know of the delays.
The fence looks good; I am happy with it. I had 4 quotes. Even if it hadn't been the lowest, which it was, I probably would have went with them anyway because Matt was quick to respond and answered every question I had. Other quotes didn't include removal of the old fence or the permit, and they never bothered to tell me that. They were trying to low-ball. Matt's quote included everything; start to finish! And the last thing he said to me was "If there are any problems, just call me. We stand behind or work!"

Prior to the windstorm a couple weeks back, my wife and I received a quote from Matt at the Grounds Guys to replace our existing fence that encloses our pool area. Sure enough, part of the fence came down during the storm and we gave Matt the go ahead with the project. A couple weeks after the snow melted, Matt and his crew came out, took away the old, and built a new fence on site for us! His crew was professional, on time and produced stellar work. Matt was very reasonably priced, honest and provided great service. Highly recommended!

We had Matt and his team build us a fence in our backyard. Matt was great in helping us decide what type of fence and decisions about the gates. Thoughout the fence building project Matt and his team were professional and pleasant. They kept us up to date about the delays due to snow and weather. In the end, the fence and gates look terrific and better than we had imagined. The car gate was so large it was difficult to open, but Matt and his team followed up and fixed the problem by adding extra wheels on the gate. Overall, very glad we went with Grounds Guys and would recommend him for any projects.

The Guys did a solid job with the fence. It was a fair price compared to the big box stores. Also, even though they ran into some uncooperative weather, they got the job done in about 3 days. That includes removing my old fence. I'd recommend them to others.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This type of work is very hard to set prices. Each job is different I am very good at estimating and very rarely have cost over runs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first discuss customers needs over the phone and see if the job falls into our area of expertise. I then set up a time to meet with customer to look at the job. Sometimes I can give a accurate estimate right then. Other times I need to prepare a more detailed estimate which takes a day or two. I then follow up with them to set time for project to be completed. After the job is done we inspect with the client to ensure the work is perfect. We shake hands and say good bye.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a member of The Grounds Guys franchise we are required to attend numerous training sessions to keep up-to-date with the newest technologies and techniques.
