FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of each makeup application is as individual as the person its being applied on. A bride will not cost what a bridesmaid will; a runway shoot will not be the same as a quince or prom. But while each application cost is different, they all include false lash strips, high end makeup, the application and travel to the individual or event (in and around Monroe County).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning. I have a lot of makeup artists I work with that are celebrity artists and I am continously learning new things. I also take classes and online courses, as well as travel to NYC to study with Makeup Forever and Smashbox.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I studied cosmetology in 2002. I thought hair would be my love but slowly I started working with makeup. I loved how you could look slimmer, shorten or thin your nose, give yourself stronger cheek bones. After years of working for other large makeup companies, I decided to go out on my own.
