- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I own an insurance agency, and in addition to auto insurance, we sell Renters and Homeowners insurance. Too often I will receive calls from my policyholders asking for extensions on their payments because the cost of moving was so high. I heard it often, I shopped around. Like always, the customer’s often right. The cost of moving was extreme, so I started a moving company with a goal to provide the best experience and at a cost 60-80% less then the competition.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We had our dates mixed up, so a customer who was counting on us wasn’t on the schedule for that day and could’ve been left to figure out there move alone unexpectedly because I made a mistake. I didn’t care if it was 3am and if I had to do the full move alone I refused to not deliver. My team exceeded my expectations and drove 90 minutes each way to assist me and our client. That day I realized I’ve been blessed with and amazing team and extraordinary clients.
