- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
New students start at $40 per 30-minute lesson. Most students meet weekly and are billed monthly before the lesson month begins. The first step is a free, no-pressure meet-and-greet lesson. Any longer lesson or special arrangement is confirmed clearly before scheduling.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a brief conversation about the student's age, experience, goals, instrument, location, and schedule. Then we schedule a free meet-and-greet lesson. If it feels like a good fit, we choose a consistent weekly time and build lessons around the student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring more than 15 years of teaching experience and over 30 years as a professional musician, including performance, recording, songwriting, and touring across the United States. I teach reading, rhythm, technique, chords, theory, improvisation, and practical musicianship.
