Resume service was done very professional and in a timely manner. Jonathan did a very good job. He took suggestions from the first draft and immediately made corrections.Nov 13, 2016Verified
I could not have asked for better service. Did great work and went the extra mile even after the job was done.Nov 8, 2016Verified
Jonathan has been extremely patient with my busy schedule. He has been able to translate work as a free-lance contractor into words I otherwise would not have been able to. He has a great ability to take my jumbled work history and thoughts and put them in a credible, coherent document that represents best my job history.Nov 3, 2016Verified
Jonathan helped overhaul my resume- both wording and formatting. He came up with ideas I would have never thought of. The initial phone call was very helpful and the rest of our communication was via email which made it easy. He listened to all of my ideas and incorporated them. I am very glad I hired him. It was definitely worth it! I have already recommended him to friends.Oct 28, 2016Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When someone contacts me for resume writing, I start off with their existing resume, if they have one. I like to speak with my clients over the phone if possible to discuss what they are looking for and provide them some samples to get an idea of what they like visually. If phone conversations aren't an option, email or Skype can also work. Once I get a good idea of the direction I'm going, I provide a first draft for you to review and make sure I'm capturing your goals appropriately. I usually perform 1-2 additional rounds of revision, but am open to as many as it takes to get you the stellar resume you deserve.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My undergraduate degree is in English and I have worked professionally as a writer and editor.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started off writing resumes when I got laid off from a job I had for almost 10 years. As I worked on my own resume, some colleagues who were let go at the same time asked me to look at their resumes and make suggestions. Things grew from there and now I get to help people from around the world!
