We hired Yaspis Toucor via Thumbtack for a Christmas lighting job, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. While he initially sounded professional, the execution left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, he informed my wife that he couldn’t decorate the roof as discussed because it was brick. Despite this, we had clearly communicated the details and even sent him pictures of the house beforehand. My wife suggested using glue, as the previous company had done, but he was unprepared and unwilling to adjust. Additionally, he lacked the necessary hooks for the awnings, further highlighting his inexperience and lack of preparation.
We are still waiting for our 30% deposit to be refunded and will pursue a claim if necessary. It’s disappointing that he hasn’t taken responsibility for his inability to complete the job.
We strongly advise others to be cautious before booking this service. Ensure you clarify every detail and verify that the provider is equipped to handle your needs. This experience was very frustrating, and we cannot recommend his services.
