I cannot say anything but great things about Gesnel & his team. They completely outdid themselves with all the obstacles thrown our way. Doing a complete floor refinishing is not an easy task in a commercial building where many codes and requirements need to be met. Gesnel was more than patient and kind during the entire process. He took on the work with pride and kept his promises. Initially he was hired to do a floor refinishing but we ended up contracting him to do the rest of the work in the showroom. The floor came out spectacular, exactly the color asked. He hung our shelves precise with no loose ends. He also painted our walls over, smoothing out all bumps and finishing off with straight edges. He did an amazing job and was such a pleasant person to work with. He really went above and beyond. I cant imagine having gone through this with anyone else. His patience and attention to detail was really admiring. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

We would highly recommend Gesnel! Before the apartment renovation, we discussed the job in detail. He is very professional, responsive (by phone and email) and is very honest when assessing work to be done. He performed the following renovations to our apartment: Painted entire apartment (crown molding, doors, walls, ceiling, etc), sanded and stained hardwood, repainted cabinets, replaced tile in kitchen with marble, replaced back splash in Kitchen, replaced light fixtures with chandeliers, etc. His work is impeccable. I am very happy with the finished product!

I recently hired Gesnel to reconfigure some plumbing, move a power outlet and reconnect several appliances as part of our kitchen renovation. Right from the first interaction Gesnel was quick to respond, polite and reliable. He arranged to come the week before for an onsite inspection and he put my mind at ease by walking me through the job and providing a reasonable estimate.
On the day he showed up a few minutes early (every other contractor involved in our renovation was late!) and diligently worked away on his task list. It became clear that he wasn't prepared to take shortcuts, and he offered a ton of sensible advice and creative solutions when we discovered unexpected issues along the way. He even offered to apply compound to an uneven wall that we were planning on tiling to help us avoid issues down the track.
At the end of the job Gesnel thoroughly cleaned up and left our apartment sparkling. I can't recommend Gesnel highly enough. He is a superstar!
