Introduction: I am particularly sensitive to how light acts and take every benefit of it, whether I'm in the studio, in a low light situation, or during the day. I also am bored very easily of overdone/mundane-looking photographs, so I strive for photographs that are interesting and appealing to the eye. I like finding aspects of things that make them unique and expressing that particular characteristic of something that people would otherwise not notice. Seeing that reaction of "Wow!" in people that view my images really makes me happy and proud.

As the coordinator for RockYoFaceCase (RYF), an organization that produces a mini concert series Ive had the pleasure to work with Chris on a number of occasions. The jobs have taken place primarily in the University Cafe we hosted our events, Chris would arrive early for pre-event to touch base with the stage & light crew resulting in about 3-4 hours of non-stop shooting. In addition to RockYoFace, Ive worked with Chris (and another photographer) on an exhibit presenting the work of two under the radar artists with contrasting perspectives on their uniquely eclectic captures of what would otherwise be simply conventional landscapes. In regards to his work in the gallery, he contributed not just his artwork but also his presence into the team and I can say without reservation that he can be greatly attributed for the success of the exhibit. I have found that as a part of a creative team he has a distinct voice and can clearly convey his thought process. He excels in individual projects that allow him free reign in regards to creative direction. As a peer he is ever-questioning and relentless in the development of a team members proposal. Furthermore, on events when we have additional photographers he is always beyond courteous and engages with them on how they can best capture the event they are working. He arrives early to engage with not only the crew (stage and lights) but also the artists themselves. As an extremely charismatic photographer he thus creates an effervescent atmosphere often resulting in photos with an almost surreal imprint of that moment. Chris is a dedicated professional especially in regards to the quality control of his own work and the message it conveys when associated with either a collective, a brand or an organization. In this regard, his dedication to the message he is conveying may be his singular weakness because such a trait is often all-consuming without exception and can need some guidelines imposed to keep deadlines in consideration.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know the costumer and exactly what they want. After a solid foundation of knowing their needs, we work together for ideas. Once at the photo event, we explore the ideas communicated and work from there.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love photography, so getting paid for it is naturally just a dream for me.

I have dealt with weddings, models, parties, large and small concerts, families, and more.
