My name is John Herbert, and I have lived and worked in the Central New York and Pennsylvania all my life. My brother, Greg, and I work together to run our company. We do all phases of contracting, from residential to commercial with emphasis on repair and restoration. We can do carpentry, masonry, painting, remodeling, heating, air-conditioning, electrical, and communications. We do tree removal and landscape pruning. We recently had John and Greg paint our home and were so impressed with the quality of their work. The job ended up taking longer than originally estimated and both John and Greg worked diligently throughout the entire process to make sure the job was done right. They were very friendly to work with and were always available to answer our questions and keep us informed on the progress of the project. My husband I are proud of how good our house looks and we've had a number of neighbors and people walking by compliment its fresh, new look. We were so pleased with the results and the great experience we had working with John and Greg.

John and Greg arrived as planned and performed both roof vent installations quickly and professionally. They were personable, reasonably priced, and willing to stand behind the craftsmanship of their work (unlike other contractors I spoke with).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No standard pricing because we do so many different trades and with so many different applications, it is difficult to price generically. We are hard workers who are trying to just make a living with what we know how to do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To be friendly and listen to their needs and requests
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Me and my partner (who is also my Brother, Greg), have a combined 40 years experience in residential and commercial work. My (John) background includes electrical and any low voltage applications (voice, data, and fiber optics). Greg has mastered the trade of HVAC with 15 years experience in that field and we have 10 years experience in all aspects of residential/commercial repair and restoration.
