What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee for a personal return (1040 and small Schedule C sole proprietors) is $300. The fee includes the first state return and itemized deductions and increases based on complexity.
My fee for a business return (1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, large Schedule C sole proprietors, etc.) is $625. The fee is for organizations with "clean" records in a tax preparation-ready condition. Additional services may be available at current hourly rates; more detail can be provided.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with them if they wish to discuss their tax situation, send them a tax organizer packet to help gather applicable information and give them the option to have an account in my secure portal to safely share documents.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Public Accountant with a degree in accounting, experience in Public Accounting and over 30 years of tax preparation experience.
