Nico played at our Family Day event. She was completely professional, prepared for our outdoor environment arriving a few minutes earlier than we agreed. Her flexibility working with kids and families helped make the event special for everyone attending. Her beautiful voice carried through the whole event. Nico was a consummate professional. We hired her for my husband’s backyard 60th birthday bash. Of course she plays great and has an amazing voice. But she found the tone and mood of the crowd immediately, and everyone loved her. Everyone raved at how fantastic she was and several people asked to book her! She played music that pleased all different ages and took requests. I could not recommend Nico more for any event you are planning. We can’t wait to book her for the next one!

I have been to music halls, farmer's market, coffeehouses and other venues where Nico has performed. I even heard her on local radio stations where she sang some of her original songs. She received rave reviews from the hosts. She is an exceptional talent where she can sing any song and to any crowd. Nico has the ability to look at a crowd and sense what kind of music they would like. She constantly interacted with the audience and everyone one loved her. Taking requests from the crowd was what I enjoyed the most. Being able to sing a song, not knowing what was going to be asked to sing, takes an exceptionally talented person and Nico is that person. Nico was a fabulous addition to my party. We had 80 guests on my deck for a birthday party. Nico was very entertaining. She played songs that I had requested as well as requests that my guests gave her as the night went along. She was very personable interacting with the audience at times and also provided quiet background music later in the evening. Nico was also wonderful with the little kids. At one point the kids were near her and she started playing some music that they knew. The kids started dancing and they had a great time. My guests were astounded at the variety of songs she can play and her voice is fantastic. Several guests asked me for her card for their private parties. I highly recommend Nico.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After discussing the client’s needs, I might send them one of my song lists to choose from. I also have several videos that give examples of the types of songs I’d play at parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my degree from Ithaca College, which is a prestigious music conservatory. I studied vocal performance as well as piano and guitar. I continue to take lessons, as most serious professionals do, to continue improving my skills and to keep my voice and hands in healthy shape.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to college at a music conservatory and got started playing open mics after I graduated. Open mics led to coffeehouse gigs, which led to bar and restaurant gigs, which led to private parties! I’ve now been a full time professional musician for six years and am continuously adding music to my repertoire.
