Patricia is literally the most amazing human being and trainer! She trained our pup Shadow who is 1 year and 3 months during the two-week boarding training we scheduled. Our Shadow is a red golden retriever and he has all the puppy energy you can imagine! I was pregnant then gave birth to my first child and walking shadow was one of the hardest tasks I have ever encountered. I was always afraid of him pulling me and making me fall like he did while I was pregnant, which warranted a trip to the ER. No fun. Literally the day I arrived at Pat’s place for a meet and greet, 30 minutes with her made a significant difference. There was a lot of training that went on with her and with us as well because we had to learn a new way to lead our Shadow, but now I’m able to walk my newborn and Shadow easily through my neighborhood despite other dogs, other humans, and multiple distractions. I could not have been able to do this without Pat’s help. We are so grateful to her and everything she taught him. So much so, we are really excited to continue advance training with her and will be boarding Shadow with her anytime we can’t bring him with us. I can’t wait till she works her magic again on him so he can pass the AKC good citizen test and become a psychiatric service dog in the future. She was really patient with Shadow and us and gave us all so much love. I was always skeptical about leaving my dog for two weeks with anyone, but with Pat, I would do it again. She’s really good at communicating back and forth and will even send a picture/video if you ask her for it. She also accommodated us well with the times we could visit him for training and just to see him. Patricia is a miracle worker and I can’t recommend her enough!
