For Pet'Sake

I cannot speak for others and there are many professionally competent pet sitters in this area. I can say that I am solely responsible for the animals in my care, that one of the things that I do that is I think unique is offer package deals to give a break to clients who use me extensively. I also keep visiting animals until I hear that the client has returned home safely. Anything can happen on the road and occassionally clients have been unable to communicate delays: I take care of the animals in my charge until I know their people are back. Although this is probably not unique, I do have solid working relationships with the veterinarians and groomers in the area, which is invaluable if an animal becomes sick or has let's say, a skunk incident, while their people are away from home. I love knowing that people can leave their pets in my care and know, without a doubt, that they do not have to worry. It is a great privilege to cover for clients who have to leave town because of a family emergency or death, or for people who are ill and cannot take care of their pets adequately. I also love creating relationships with animals; earning their trust and affection.
