- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is unique and therefore gets custom pricing that is affordable. Senior and Veteran discounts are available. The larger the project, the more the discount. Consultation is offered at $99/hr for homeowners who want to do their own home improvement projects but need a construction coach along the way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Starting with the initial conversation, I find out about the customer and their needs over the phone/message. Then I offer a free on-site estimate to give a specific price for their project. Once agreed upon, a contract is signed and work is scheduled. Smaller projects are paid upon completion whereas larger projects require a down payment with the balance upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had on-the-job training since I was 8 years old, working with my dad in his construction business. I’ve also passed numerous tests in Ohio municipalities for city licenses as well as the Michigan state license and completed a home inspection certification. I’ve functioned as a construction company owner with 17 employees, a landlord with house rentals and a house flipper, all of which have served as powerful training tools to learn about various phases of construction and remodeling.
