- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Family portrait sessions, including newborns, are $250 for the sitting fee and this includes 5 complimentary fully edited digital files. Weddings generally run between $1800 - $2200 depending on hours. Although I regularly offer Thumbtack clients lower prices because I'm filling in unbooked gaps. It's a great deal for both of us!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customer, who they are, and what they are looking for. This is best achieved via phone or over a quick cup of coffee. Once we have established that we are going to work together, we get contracts and payment out of the way. I will assist with suggestions for location, time of day, and outfits if necessary, and stay in touch as we move closer to our shoot date. I am always available to answer questions, or to respond to late - night inspiration!
