FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate all depends on the job I usually go for $50/hour but I will work with you and negotiate especially if I need to fill my books and right now I need to fill my books!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When someone reaches out, I like to get on the phone or text to understand what they need done. I'll ask questions about the project and usually request a few photos if possible, just so I can give an accurate estimate and make sure I have the right tools and materials ready. For most jobs, I can give you a price right away based on photos and our conversation. If it's something more involved, I might need to swing by to take a look in person before quoting - that visit is always free. Once we agree on the price and timing, I'll show up on time with everything needed to get the job done. I'm pretty straightforward - I'll keep you updated as I work, clean up after myself, and make sure you're happy with the result before I leave. If something unexpected comes up during the job, I'll let you know right away before doing any extra work. My goal is to make the whole process easy and stress-free for you, and earn a good review by doing solid work at a fair price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've owned and operated a remodeling business for the past 4-5 years, which taught me a lot about residential construction, project management, and what quality work looks like. I've worked alongside experienced contractors on everything from full kitchen remodels to deck builds to interior renovations, so I've seen how different trades approach their work and learned what holds up over time. I didn't go through a formal apprenticeship program, but I've learned hands-on by doing the work and being on job sites regularly ALONGSIDE WITH LICENSED CONTRACTORS. I'm the type who researches the right way to do things, watches how the pros handle it, and doesn't cut corners. For smaller handyman projects, I have the skills and experience to get the job done right - and I'm honest about the rare times when something might need a licensed specialist instead.
