Sharon's Dog Training

Introduction: I began my career in the field working as a vet assistant for 12 years at Dr. Hart’s Animal Hospital and Porter Pet Hospital. I enjoyed helping owners take good care of their pets through healthcare and offering advice as much as I could. Throughout the years I also worked with training horses, taking riding lessons and assisted teaching riding lessons. I’ve learned that while I gained an abundant amount of personal and professional experience, education would be the key to further understanding life with animals. I then began my studies in dog training to pursue my goal of becoming a dog trainer. As a Certified Dog Trainer I am educated to help, and with my life long passion, personal and professional experiences I am confident in guiding owners to learn how to better understand the way their dog behaves. I am devoted to helping you understand what it is you need to learn for your relationship with your companion to grow and flourish. I believe there is no such thing as a “bad” dog, so I’m here to help every dog be the best dog an owner would want. My love for animals will always be there and I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm and passion with you. I enjoy seeing​ the relationship between owner and their dog(s) grow stronger with every training session! There's nothing like helping owner's understand what it is their dog needs and dogs to understand what it is you as an owner are asking of them!
