Hello, my name is Jay Mohr and I'm a remodeler that has been in construction for 38years. I don't count the first 8 years of my life because my Dad didn't get me my concrete boots and my own little mason trowel till I was 8. So from 8 years old I learned how to do masonary with my Dad. I ended up doing masonry till I was 17 and then went on to finishing drywall. From there I started my own drywall business at 23 and ran alot of northeast Ohio's drywall finishing for years. During that time I ran my drywall company and also went to work with a guy to learn how to do everything. This guy who was an old tool and die maker was as precise about everything he did like I was. I learned everything in construction from men who did everything the right way and had integrity and passion in what they did. That is the mold I come from. We don't cut corners, we don't band-aid approach things, and we guarantee our work. I come and do the work personally and I do it with the same passion that I would do my own. I will always make sure that at the end of your job, you are smiling and happy!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always try to give a fair price! I'm not out here to gouge people, that's not why I'm in this profession. I'm in it to see the smile on people's faces when thier project is done and they are satisfied.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually come to look at thier project in person so I can get on the same page with them and discuss ideas. I try to let them get to know a little about me so they feel comfortable in hiring me to work for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was always good with math and in this trade alot of it comes down to measurements but most of my knowledge of construction was taught to me by two professionals who taught me how important it was to be as precise as I could be and take pride in what I do. They taught me to never cut corners and to do customers projects like I would do my own.
