Introduction: My service stands out from the others because I will take my time while on site to make sure that my client understands the inspection process and knows that the home they are buying is in great shape or they should run for the hills. Your BareFOOT Home Inspector will always puts his best foot forward for his clients. The best part of this job is that it does not feel like a job; it's more of an adventure into a new environment with each new client and dwelling. When you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Home Inspection

Mike was extremely thorough in his inspection and report. He was punctual, professional, and courteous through the whole process. He took time to explain things that concerned him, but also pointed out where things were good. He really put my mind at ease. I would not hesitate to contact him if you need a home inspection. Should the need arise, I’d use him again in a heartbeat! You can’t go wrong with Mike.

Home Inspection

Mike was prompt and thorough. I have had four different inspections for homes across the country over the past two years, and Mike's was very thorough. The text was color coded, pictures were annotated and the table of contents and up-front executive summary were very helpful and to the point. He charged less than anyone else advertised. I recommend Mike.

Home Inspection

Mike was very thorough and he made the inspection process less stressful than other inspections I’ve had done. He explained things clearly as he inspected the house and provided a detailed report. He also came out twice after repairs were completed to make sure they were done properly. I felt confident with my home purchase after Mike’s inspection.

Home Inspection

Mike did a great job with our home inspection! He was extremely thorough which we really appreciated and very kind. He explained the issues he found to us in detail so we could fully understand the extent of the issues he found. Overall it was great!

Home Inspection

We’re first time home buyers and Mike was great! He was very quick to respond to our inquiry and able to fit us in during the time frame we needed. He was very friendly, professional and thorough. He disclosed his major findings at the inspection and we received our even more detailed report the very next morning. Will definitely be using him if we ever need to again and will recommend to friends!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once I have been hired to perform a home inspection, I will work closely with my client and Realtor to schedule the inspection. I will explain to my client what is involved and my process of inspecting your new home. I ask the client to be present at the inspection so I can explain what I found in person and to go over any questions the client my have.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I first worked for a construction company as the office manage, but was soon promoted to a field project manager to over see the reconstruction / renovation of homes that were damaged due to water, fire or storms. I learned from the inside out on how a home should be constructed. I also am a member of InterNACHI and I am required to complete 24 hours of continuing education each year.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my home inspections are performed for the home buyer. The demand for specific experience is growing day by day. I have also done inspections for the home owner who needs to know what may or may not be wrong with their home prior to putting the home on the market.
