Introduction: Everything from our kitchen starts from fresh product and is produced in-house and at the last possible minute. We do not prepare and freeze and we don't use convenience products. The nature of our work is custom cooking so every client has different desires and we cater to them all. Ethnic cooking- to the best of our ability. Special diets- we have heard it all and do the best we can to research products to meet special needs.

Charlie is awesome! Having only a day's notice, Charlie was able to work with me on creating a food menu (with certain dietary restrictions) while also providing me with a bar tender/ server, as well as plates & glassware. The day prior to my fundraiser, my caterer called and cancelled and I was stuck trying to find a new caterer that could provide a specialized food menu (no shellfish, pork, or dairy appetizers) for 30 guests as well as both a server to help set up/ close down the event and a bartender to serve drinks. In addition, I also required glassware and plate rentals. I contacted more than 20 caterers in the Cincinnati/ Kentucky area trying to find someone who could fulfill all of my requirements. Charlie responded quickly and worked with me (well past business hours) to create a personalized menu, find servers, and have everything organized. The next day, Charlie personally went to the event and did the set up to make sure that everything would run smoothly before handing off the event to one of his capable servers. Throughout the fundraiser, people came up to me and complimented the food and were pleased with the service. At the end of the night, I spoke with the host (who was unaware of any catering issues) and he thanked me for arranging the food/ service and praised Charlie & his server for the delicious food as well as leaving his kitchen clean and organized before leaving. Not only did Charlie work around a very tight schedule, but he kept me at ease throughout that very stressful day, letting me know what everything was in good hands and updating me whenever I called. Finding a caterer in the Cincinnati area that can help throw an elegant event with tasty food and great service is do-able; finding a caterer who can provide these same great services with only a day's notice is rare. I highly recommend calling Charlie for future catering needs- you will not be sorry.

Cuisine East West catered a plated dinner celebration for 32 under tent for my wife's 50th birthday. They provided the food, servers, prep staff, bar staff, table settings and barware for the entire event. In sum everything was excellent. The food was well prepared, flavorful and impeccably presented. Charlie's many years of industry experience managing establishments like Trios, the Bankers Club, the Metropolitan Club and others allowed him to provide excellent guidance in developing the menu and staging the event. The service staff - Rob, Mike and Evin - were absolutely top notch. We found them to be personable, friendly, attentive, and hard working. We were very pleased with Cuisine East West.

We asked a lot of Charlie and Cuisine East West, and he came through on all counts. We hired Cuisine East West to cater authentic Kenyan for for a fundraising dinner. He met numerous times with Kenyans affliated with the organization to hammer out all the details. His food was spot on, and I never would have guessed that he had never cooked this type of food before. His communication leading up to, during and after the event helped us feel more at ease planning our fundraiser knowing that Charlie was taking care of all of our catering needs. I highly recommend Charlie for your event and we will definitely be using him again in the future. Thanks Charlie!!

I found Cuisine East West through Thumbtack. I needed a caterer to create and deliver the right menu for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary party. My experience working with Charlie was very positive, from our initial phone call to the actual event. The party was this past weekend and Cuisine East West delivered with excellence. The presentation was lovely and the food was delicious. I received countless compliments from the guests about the wonderful food. I will be calling Charlie again when the need arises.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love food and I love being creative. I also enjoy wearing many hats and I never get to know how my day is going to go until it has gone.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Corporate lunches...buffets for 20-150 people. Salads, Grilled and Roasted Meats and prepared vegetables and side dishes. I love brownies!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A bridal shower at a client's home. She provided the recipes for each dish and the food was all outside of our norm, ingredients we would never otherwise use...we rose to the occasion and wowed the party and we made a friend of the client and we've back to do more.
