Bill enlisted in the US Navy in November of 1996. During his tenure he assumed duties as a Military Working Dog (MWD) Patrol/Narcotic/Bomb Handler, Kennel Master, and Instructor. He trained & certified over 256 MWDs while in the US Navy. In 2006 he was honorably discharged from active duty.
One of the most rewarding things in my Job is when I see the owners come back to pick up their dogs after 15 days of training, and the dogs are so happy to see their owners. Then when the owner sees how amazing the dogs are with the training, it makes me feel great. This has to be one of the most rewarding jobs that there is.

We started looking for a trainer for our German Shepherd (Lucy) a few months back. We found bill at bulletproof dogtraining on thumbtack and I was very impressed with his background. Bill was very helpful explaining all of his training options, even sending multiple videos. We decided to try another trainer due to the price. After a few lessons with the other trainer we knew Lucy was going to need a different trainer. We dug a little deeper into bullet proof dogtraining and decided to put plans into action. We dropped Lucy off with bill for 15 days and I simply can not praise these guys enough. We started receiving videos of her a few days later and I thought we were getting videos of a different dog. We were afraid when we got our dog back she would be a robot, but this is not the case. She’s still the playful love able pup we dropped off, but now she listens to us! They spent plenty of time with us when we picked her up to make sure that we were comfortable with all of the commands that were taught. The entire staff was extremely friendly and I could tell they truly cared about Lucy! I’m very glad we found this place and came around, I just wish we would have went with them right away. I highly recommend bulletproof dogtraining.

Words cannot describe how pleased we are with Casper’s training at Bulletproof! He worked with Tom for the 15 day board & train program. Casper has become our dream come true. He listens, he obeys and he’s HAPPY! Before we left, Tom taught us the tools to work with Casper on the home specific training needs and how to keep his established training on course. (Admittedly, I need as much training as Casper.) What a great place!
Casper was treated like a member of the family while he was there and he came home the same loving and energetic puppy just now with a work ethic.
If any more dogs come into our family, I can guarantee they will go through this program.

Stone Cold is an entirely different dog--not just as far as following commands, but his whole attitude has improved and he's better behaved even when I'm not asking anything of him. Lessons were easy for me to understand so I could continue working with him at home. The trainers are calm and patient, and they had him heeling almost perfectly in ONE lesson. I highly recommend!!

Meghan and Bill both trained Max for part of the 15 days and then Meghan took over and she did what I would consider amazing.
I have been needing to use a walker with a fold down chair so I can walk and then sit if need be, I have been working on regaining my strength over the past 2 years.
Max stays right next to me, he actually does a "heel" better with the walker. He also does an awesome "heel" next to a handicap scooter for when I go to the store. He stays right by it and really does not pay attention to anyone around.
I just can't say how glad I received an excellent recommendation from Ranger's grandmother. Her son had him training at the Ohio facility.
Max was trained at the San Antonio facility.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will Contact them and let them explain to me what kind of training they are looking into for their dog to make sure that they get what they are paying for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training Dogs for over 15 years both in and out of the service, I am certified in both AKC CGC along with Therapy Dog Unlimited. I also can Certify Service dogs through the Service Dogs Foundation. Completed both MWD school and Instructor school while I was in the US Navy. With over the 1000 plus dogs I have trained this gives me one of the most important things of all Hands on Experience, with many different breeds and behaviors allowing me to pass on my expertise to my clients.
