I’m Valentina, a professional flutist. I hold a master’s degree in flute performance from the University of Missouri and I’m currently a doctoral student at the University of Cincinnati.
I will make a lesson plan for you after our first lesson to help you get the results you want!
I have over 8 years of teaching experience! I love helping students reach their unique musical goals—whether that’s learning their first notes, preparing for auditions, or refining advanced technique. I’ve had the privilege of studying with several renowned flutists like Demarre McGill, Alice Dade, and Sooyun Kim, and I bring that training into every lesson.
I welcome students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. I truly believe music is for everyone, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where you can grow at your own pace.

Arango is an amazing and well-prepared flutist. I worked with her for a year in the New Music Ensemble at the University of Missouri 2022-23. Her level of preparedness was outstanding, and I was always impressed by her performance and readiness. I love her beautiful and creative playing.
