FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am very up front with my pricing and there are no hidden fees. Any and all fees will be discussed during the consultation and documented in my Services Agreement prior to the start of the project. I do offer discounts on a case by case basis in special/extreme circumstances.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process begins with an initial phone interview, followed by a 30-45 minute free in-home consultation for interested parties. During the consultation, we will discuss what does and doesn't currently work in the spaces in your home and I will ask you about your goals. I will share my suggested solutions and we will decide whether or not we are a good fit to work together. If you decide to proceed with my services, we will schedule a start date and get work together on a collaborative process to create space that brings you dignity, balance, and peace of mind!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Psychology and a background working in the social work world and elder care which helps me listen and offer a depth of empathy that can sometimes be lacking. I believe strongly in continuing education and took training through the Institute for Chronic Disorganization. I completed their Foundational Certificate in the Study of Chronic Disorganization and their Level 1 Certificate in the Study of ADHD. I also completed the following courses through NAPO University (National Association of Productivity & Organizing): The Professional Practice Courses - Ethics for Organizing and Productivity Professionals; Industry Professionalism; Foundational Productivity; and Foundational Organizing.
