Yoda was awesome. I met her at an event in Oakland and she was selling some dresses. I needed a dress for an event I was performing at in NYC and was overworked and overwhelmed and had no time to shop. She helped me pick out a dress, figured out exactly what to style it with in terms of jacket, tights and boots, stayed up all night to alter this beautiful sequined dress for me and a few days later, I picked it up from her and tried it on. She was so nice. She even helped me pick out a stylish hat for freezing February in NYC. I got so many compliments. I owe it to her. I am not the type of person who ever saw myself going to a stylist. It just sort of happened, but I would do so again and I am referring her to many hard-working professional women I know who need help finding clothes for an occasion or just to add some verve to their wardrobe now and again with the help of a trusted professional.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
From studying to working in the fashion industry, I found there was a huge miss in individual style at an affordable level. I was working informally as a stylist to my friends and family, and realized that this was a passion and skill that I wanted to make available to others.
