We hired IdeaZone to redesign our company website for a fresh, new user experience and to organize our broad product line in a way that makes sense for visitors. This site definitely appeals to our target market because the layout is so simple but very VERY effective. It is a clean site with a flawless look, which customers in our industry can appreciate. IdeaZone has been a pleasure to work with. Not only did they deliver a beautiful product, they are very responsive when questions arise throughout the process and always help to explain the next steps in the website progression. I am very pleased to develop this new partnership and have the support of the creative and technical team when we need them. We have received rave reviews so far on the website and I would highly recommend Bob and his team at IdeaZone to anyone needing a website of any size. Jen McVey Marketing Manager Ancra International
Art has been instrumental for the last several years helping me grow my business. He offers an outside perspective for small business owners; helping them to navigate their business and expand their operations. Since we have started working together, Art's given guidance for marketing, business strategy, growth plans and customer relations.
I'm a managing partner of FoldnGo Products. We hired Customer-Driven Computing to design and build our website. Brian created a very professional looking and operating site for us. If we thought of something we wanted to add or change, Brian was on it. If we had an idea he would find a way to make it happen. We also use Customer-Driven Computing as the web host. Brian is a pleasure to work with. Chris Dimmitt Managing Partner foldngoproducts.com
Thanks to Donna, I finally got my new skincare product business up and running. From website design, to coaching, Donna's step-by-step approach to help me identify my goals and then create a plan to attain those goals were key to my startup!
I have found Dave Wess to be a very insightful and wise advisor to consult in areas such as organizational planning and leadership, personal time management, project development and direction, and much more. Be it a religious or corporate entity, or an individual embarking on some entrepreneurial pursuit, Dave is one of the most innovative, out of the box thinkers you will encounter. If taking your organization, your project initiatives, your management team, your leadership, and even your personal self-management, to a level of greater excellence, success and productivity is your goal, Dave Wess will greatly assist you in achieving your objectives. I highly recommend him as an A+ advisor, trainer and consultant.
I enjoy working with Brenda. She gives me new ideas on how to communicate with people who need my product. Questions to ask to get them to think more about how they can use my products and buy in now. Simple questions like Always ask for the sale. I know that but I don't always do it. I do it much more often now. And making cold calls has gotten my easier with Brenda's insight to getting thru gate keepers and getting to the sale. It's been great and I will continue to have Brenda as my coach! Deb Meyer, OdorXit Products
Jerri helped me develop my business and gain clientele. She improved my sales volume and help me launch my first events last year since then we have continued progression. When needed she's the person to call for building and branding.
Amira was great to work with. She provided awesome ideas for content for my business as I was restructuring my website. She's in the know of the trends and things consumers are looking for when shopping online and looking for information. She was polite and confident in her work and suggestions. It definitely made me feel comfortable and I knew I was in the right hands.
Sharon was contracted by our company initially to translate the information displayed to our customers accessing products and assets from our hardware devices as well as to translate the information displayed to our customers who administer and manage those devices, products and assets through our Web UI interfaces. These were highly technical translation projects requiring not only strong technical and communication skills on Sharon's part to understand the requirements and design of our solutions, but also strong analytical and problem solving skills as she became a key member of our team to identify and diagnose possible bugs in the firmware and software which she was translating and then actively testing the Spanish translations in our deployed solutions. In addition to the software and firmware translation projects, Sharon exceeded expectations by ensuring that word choices for critical concepts were consistently documented in reusable project dictionaries and applied across all solution areas including, software and firmware, and technical and user documentation that accompany our solutions. She likewise ensured that the translations would be acceptable throughout geographically dispersed Latino regions including, South America, Central America, Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands, and Europe. This is NOT trivial. Sharon was further contracted by our company to translate sales and marketing collateral, case studies, and presentations for our solutions along with translating the corporate Web page for all of our solutions. Her unique mix of technical and business talents contributed significantly to our successful deployments of company solutions into Spanish-speaking regions worldwide. Sharon brings more than a casual approach to each translation project and applies strong personal motivation to ensure consistency across all of our company translation projects. She recognizes the difference between a 'global company' which considers the cultural mores and influences within countries, and a company who simply has a 'presence globally' which continues to push the cultural mores and influences of the 'host' company into countries. We found this insight to be particularly poignant and valuable as we were opening up new markets for our solutions where skills in assessing cultural expressions and translating intent in a way that is acceptable to the population you are addressing becomes even more important. As the hiring manager who oversaw most of the work that Sharon performed for our company, I give her my strongest endorsement!
This review is based on my association with Christopher Hawley's career for nearly 40 years. It includes his roles in education, marketing, product development and design. I did not have a detailed engagement in each of these phases of his career, except for one, his undergraduate thesis in industrial design, which I believe established his purpose, scope and modus operandi as a professional. This yearlong project, which I witnessed as his academic advisor, was the culmination of the five-year program. It was a proposal for an innovative haptic approach to experiential learning in the primary grades. It included a set of hands-on playthings designed for specific mental stimuli. The thesis received a very favorable review from the faculty and a jury of design professionals to whom it was presented. It was unique to education in the US, at that time, engaged in educational reform inspired by philosophers and humanists like Maria Montessori, Jean Piaget, John Dewey and others. Christopher Hawley's proposal was uniquely tailored to Plato's philosophy--that education is based on freedom--avoid compulsion and let your children's lessons take the form of play. After graduation, he continued to develop his thesis, his philosophy, and the "toys" he invented, linking his theory of education with the goals of a democratic society and adopting this concept of social responsibility, in all it's complexities, as the dominant driver of professional service.
I have worked with Dave in his roles of business consultant and senior administrator in Higher Education. I've seen firsthand how he rally's a team to hit the issue-project or solution head on. He is a true leader and is someone who see's the big picture and manages to a solution. His strategic planning experience is the reason why his projects touching economic development saw deep success. Dave and I worked and collaborated on initiatives touching small and medium size entrepreneurial ventures in Missouri. Dave was the voice of the projects, and did whatever it took to exceed the expectations of his internal and external customers.
