FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing begins with the formal inspection process. We have a flat fee of 120.00 that is due the day of the inspection. This covers all trees in question, and can last up to 1 hour, if there are many trees to review. The inspection process is very thorough, and prefer to have the customer on site to be able to articulate what we are observing. Once the inspection has been completed, and a proposal has been generated with the price of specified services, then the customer has 1 year to schedule and complete the work. Pricing each project is based on the many unique factors at hand, and are generated on a case by case basis. Typically, projects are scheduled, executed, and we are paid when specified services have been completed. Projects with a price point of 5000 or greater, require a 50% deposit to be added to our schedule. The remaining balance will be paid when the project is complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new customer will contact us directly or through Thumbtack and we will set up the initial inspection of their project. We will advise them on options and give them enough resources to do their own research to learn more about our recommendations. We will create a formal proposal outlining the specified services we have agreed on, with a final price. This is not an estimate that will change, and is the price you can expect to pay when the specified services have been rendered. It’s as simple as that!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
University of Cincinnati Horticulture, Louisville & Jefferson County Metro Parks Division of Urban Forestry, International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) which requires continued education credits (CEU) each year, ensuring the most up to date cultural information and related technologies.
