Wedding Catering

Working with Matt from Gourmet Guy Catering/Manna Truck was an absolute fantastic experience. He was very easy to work with right from the beginning! Our tasting was a unique experience in that Matt came to our house and served at our dinner table what we selected from his menu. He walked us through item by item as we built our menu for our big day! Rentals even went through Matt which made it very easy and one less step we needed to worry about. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, and the servers from Gourmet Guy Catering. The food was excellent and exactly what we tasted so many months back! The servers were exceptional and very professional! We had a wonderful experience with Matt throughout the whole planning journey of our wedding!

Above and beyond would be one way I desribe the quality and service that I received from Gourmet Guy Catering. Matt and his team were kind, patient, and professional. Matt worked to tailor a menu to suit our wants and needs. So many of the guests at our wedding complimented how delicious the food and service was. The food was beyond what you would expect at a typical wedding. The chicken was cooked to perfection! The waitstaff were so attentive and willing to jump in wherever needed. One of the ladies even helped me carry my dress and an umbrella as I had to make a run through the pouring rain. It is clear that Matt and the reast of the team at Gourmet Guy are passionate about their work and committed to quality service. They are honest, fair, and talented.

Event Catering (Buffet)

Matt provided great meals for nearly 100 people for an entire weekend. His prices were competitive, food and timing were excellent. We received many compliments from attendees to our event on the food!

Wedding and Event Catering

Matt with Manna Truck did an awesome job for my daughter's Grad Party last month. Everyone loved the food and every item was fantastic. Matt was flexible in allowing us to choose the menu and provided many great choices. We had a combo food truck/catering. The burger was a huge hit as was the grilled cheese and the fries and homemade chips. I will definitely use Matt and Manna Truck again. It was so easy and no mess in my house! I highly recommend Manna Truck! Everything was incredible!!

Working with Gourmet Guy Catering was a wonderful experience for me and my family. We hired Gourmet Guy to cater a graduation party for 150 people at our home. They arrived on time and fully prepared. They kept the food flowing and helped with all the details. The food was excellent- everyone raved about it. I can't wait to work them again on a future event!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    We customize every experience and therefore do not have a standard pricing system however we have created menu options to help guide undecided customer. These also give a general price point.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, we like to get to know a new customer and get details about the event so we can tailor our suggestions to best meet their needs. We will work through what the customer's absolute must haves and must nots. After gathering the necessary information we'll make suggestions and then continue to process with the client.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Arts in 1996 after which I worked with a couple of top chefs in Cleveland. In 1998 I opened my own restaurant. After selling my restaurant in 2011 I began the catering and food truck adventure.
