Needed a new furnace and air conditioner. Fully explained and showed me why my current one shouldn’t be repaired. Gave me a couple of options and was in contact to keep me updated on the new installation. They worked until almost 10pm to get the job done and made sure we were satisfied with the work. I had a couple other quotes and they were very competitive and lower in some cases. What I liked vs the other companies was that he explained why I needed what I got and what I was getting vs other companies just sending quotes with only a price and some vague info on what I was paying for. Very professional and friendly as well.

To anyone in need of HVAC service, please read this review before you shop any further. About a month ago, the pilot light on my 45+ (yes, 45+) year old furnace refused to stay lit. I've been able to get it to stay lit here and there, but ultimately, it was always another trip down to the basement to relight it. My 45+ year old furnace had finally bitten the bullet. It died. I called a few commercial HVAC companies (no need to mention any by name) to have them come out and replace the pilot light. Each company I called promised me a solution over the phone, and each time I was told, "We have to replace it." That comment was always followed by a ridiculous service fee. One tech told me they couldn't fix it because the parts didn't exist, and another didn't want to be held liable for something going wrong. One service guy flat-out told me he wouldn't touch it. Like physically, he would not touch it. So, of course, they all gave me quotes for a new furnace instead. All 3 of them were unaffordable. I was quoted an average of $8,000 for a replacement. And I knew those were legit offers because we just had the downstairs furnace replaced 3 years ago (we have a 2-family home) for $6,000. Since I've used Thumbtack in the past with positive results, I decided to see if I could find someone more local who could simply replace the pilot light to get me through the winter. A bandaid, if you will. At least until I can afford $8K. Now... here's where everything got good. I called Jomah's Heating and Air Comfort and asked about my little repair job. I figured an $85 service call beats the hell out of an $8,000 complete furnace replacement. I explained my situation, and Eyad thoroughly detailed all the possible reasons as to why my pilot light kept going out. Eyad then compared the benefits of a new furnace with the potential costs of repairing the old one. I said to myself, same old script I've heard before. But what caught my attention was when he gave me the esitmate. He said that he can install a new furnace for $2,200 out the door. Typically, I keep pricing details private because they only pertain to my circumstances. But this was the price he quoted me over the phone. I almost hung up on him. "That's impossible," I thought. My last 3 quotes were equivalent to a used car. How can this be true? Well, let me tell ya. It wasn't a fairy tale. He came out the next day to take measurements and fill me in on the process. He gave me a more in-depth rundown of the furnace itself. The brand is OneTru and is made by Trane. He explained all the quality aspects but all I heard was "10-year warranty on all parts." I researched the unit, and it seems to be a reliable economic option There was, however, one unanticipated cost. Due to the height difference, I needed some custom-fit parts for a proper fit. I was hesitant to hear the conclusion of the conversation, but was pleasantly surprised to hear it would only be an additional $400. I knew for sure it was going to be $1,000 or more. The final cost was $2,600 for an 80,000 BTU furnace with custom parts. They came out 2 days later, and in under 2 hours, my old furnace was out. The new one was in. And I had normal heat again. No more space heaters. Thank God. I couldn't have asked for a better transition. Afterwards, Ayed went around and checked all the vents to ensure everything was working fine. I wrote him a check for $2,600 and voila. Nothing but utter and complete happiness! He saved me literally more than $5,000. I called Ayed a few days later to address a squeaking sound in the floor. They were here within a couple of hours. The issue was something unrelated, but they helped take care of it anyway. Jomah's Heating and Air is the real deal! They are affordable, attentive, and pay close attention to your needs. My only regret is not knowing about them 3 years ago when I had my downstairs furnace replaced.

My furnace stopped working on New Year's Day. I looked on Thumbtack and found Jomahs. "Eyad" came out that same day. Very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable. I was assured they could fix my furnace. They had to order a part and came the next day. Furnace fixed in no time. The price was reasonable... especially on a holiday.
