Thanks so much. I had a great time!
The request to do "coco" facepaint was granted and they were so great with the kids. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact I have another grandchild's birthday in July and I will likely hire this team again.Jun 11, 2018Verified
Children seemed happy with the range of designs available. Artist was on site for an hour and a half and kept children entertained. My only concern was with punctuality. Had to contact artist when she was 30 minutes late. But she explained the confusion and was able to come so that children would not be disappointed.Dec 18, 2017Verified

What a wonderful job. Our co-works didn’t even recognize us at the part, the makeup was done so well.Oct 23, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge $80 per hour. If the event requires more than one painter, the same price applies per painter. Exceptions include 1/2 hr increments, trip charges for distances over 30 miles, and flat rate quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A brief formal introduction with an overview of what is included with their cost, is my initial contact with most new customers. Secondly, I ask pointed questions and listen carefully to the clients answers. Getting a clear idea of what they envision for their event and explaining how I can tailor my services to fit their needs is an integral part of building trust and a good rapport with a new customer. Finally, after giving them all the basic information they need, and having explained how my services can best fit their needs. I make sure they get a clear cut, reasonable price quote. People appreciate a straight answer when it comes to the numbers. Hidden costs and last minute surprises are unsettling to say the least, and discourage repeat business. Once they have what they need it doesn't take long for a customer to decide on and finalize their plans, and book their date and time. Those who choose not to do business at that time are still left with a positive impression of being treated with kindness, given personal attention, and having their request handled professionally. This increases the chance of them coming back at a later time to do business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an extensive background of working in the field of the arts. From 1989-1991 I studied as a summer scholar at the distinguished Cleveland Institute of Art. From 1992-1994 I worked as a caricature artist at Geauga Lake Amusement Park. From 1995-2003 I was a preschool teacher who specialized in teaching through the arts of movement and rhythm, visual art, and poetic association. In 2004 & 2005 I worked with a muralist group to improve the appearance of eyesore spaces in my neighborhood. From 2007-2009 I worked as a formally trained union painter with I.U.P.A.T. And 2011 saw the birth of Face Painting by Cinnamon the sole proprietary predecessor of Party Faces Face Painting.
