The job was a bathroom expansion from a half bathroom breaking down a wall and putting in a full bathroom.Consultation started off okay, got a fair quote. They didn't start working till over a month later. Everything was confusing to them from the start. They're very disorganized. They said it would be done in two or three days, it took them six or seven days over 2 months. They put a hole in my ceiling 5 ft above from where I was sitting because they couldn't find where the pipes were. The rubble from the ceiling almost fell on my head. They hooked the cold water up to the hot water. They did this twice and I were surprised when I wanted it done properly. Another reviewer commented on the same thing. The flooring was done improperly, they had to do it over. The carpentry was a nightmare, it looked like a fourth grader did it. I'm going to have to redo that. They use caulking on the ceiling and the walls instead of spackle. What they did spackle, was all bumpy and they didn't sand it down. Sink trap was leaking after they left. I brought it to their attention and assumed they fixed it and they said they did it. It was still leaking, and it was just a tightening of a nut, it was the easiest fix and they couldn't figure it out. I hired them before the last three or four one-star reviews were posted or else they never would have hired them. They left the workspace and anywhere near the workspace strewn with litter garbage scrap wood etc. Too many problems to describe here. "Pro"was very argumentative when I wanted some kind of compensation, and thumbtack was of no help whatsoever. The guarantee didn't apply for some technical reason. I will never use Thumbtack again.
