FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every water damage job is different, so pricing depends on how much water there was, what it soaked into, and how long it sat. We inspect first, explain exactly what needs to be done, and give you a clear scope before any work starts. On insurance claims we work directly with your carrier and document everything with photos and moisture readings, and we do not require full payment upfront on insurance jobs. No hidden fees, no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with your call. We ask a few quick questions about what you are seeing, then get a technician on site fast, usually the same day for emergencies. On arrival we inspect the damage, take moisture readings, and explain what we found in plain language. Then we extract the standing water, set up air movers and dehumidifiers, and check moisture daily until everything hits dry standard per IICRC S500. You get updates at every step, and we handle the insurance documentation for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is IICRC certified in water damage restoration (S500) and mold remediation (S520), the industry standards for structural drying and safe mold removal. On top of that, we bring more than 20 years of hands-on hardwood flooring experience, which means we understand better than most how water damage affects floors and subfloors, and when a floor can be saved instead of replaced.
