Dwight was absolutely a god sent, we just moved into our new home & the cleaner’s accidentally clogged & backed up our kitchen sink by throwing out all the dirty water & grime after they scrubbed our carpets. To say that we are not knowledgeable in repairs & plumbing, would be an understatement. So finding someone that is trustworthy & honest, is as important to us as their skill level & abilities. Those of us that do not have these skills, all have stories of being taken advantage of, charged 5 times what we should have been or told that what is wrong is actually worse then it is. Which is why I researched & knew instantly that I wanted to use K&Dee Home Hauling, Plumbing & Remodeling. It was clear reading the endless positive reviews that Dwight has worked very hard & has earned his amazing & great reputation. I was so confident that he was the only service that I called. AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. I honestly can’t say enough great things about him. He was nice, kind, professional, explained what he was doing & answered all of our questions with ease. And of course, it was not exactly an easy fix, because of where the blockage was & the severity of the blockage. After checking & making sure that it wasn’t anything else causing it. It was so far back that he had to go into our basement to get to the blockage in the piping. It was definitely a lot more involved & time consuming than just a normal clogged kitchen sink. He knows what he is doing & gets the job done with an ease & comfort. He works quickly & efficiently, and cleaned everything up after he was done. I generally would never have work done without my husband home or if I was by myself. We will definitely be using him for any plumbing, electrical & home remodeling that we need done. I was completely comfortable with him & would not hesitate to have him work on our house even if we were not at home or I was by myself. Which truly speaks volumes about this man’s character. He is truly a jack of all trades. I can honestly say with full confidence that this was 100 percent hands down, one of the best experiences that we have ever had, when it comes to hiring any company or business to repair & fix something. More importantly, to say that Dwight is honest, trustworthy & more than reasonable and fair when it comes to pricing, would be an understatement. My husband & I are so happy to finally find a business & professional that we can depend on & trust. Really impressed with K & Dee plumbing! I originally posted a Thumbtack request because we had a toilet that was leaking through the kitchen. We had already purchased a new toilet and had planned to install it within the next few weeks, but because the old one had a leak, I called K & Dee to see if they could repair it. He wisely suggested that they just go ahead and replace the toilet and it was a complicated new electric smart bidet toilet so required a little bit more work. He finished the job he was on and was able to come to our house within two hours, recognizing the urgency of having the old toilet leaking through the kitchen. He and his wife were very professional and gave us a fair estimate and completed the work in a timely fashion with great communication. He was also honest that he was not the right person to repair the sheet rock that he had to cut into the kitchen ceiling, and that we should find someone else for that. He let us know that before he cut into the ceiling. The installation of the toilet was perfect and we love it in the bathroom! I will definitely use them again.
