- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Residential service calls are $89.00 Light commercial service calls are $99.00 This covers the travel and diagnostic fee. We don't charge per hour, our prices are flat rate so time does not matter. The diagnostic fee may even cover a simple repair. We also offer a yearly maintenance program called the Heartland Performance Service Plan. This plan will cover one furnace inspection in the fall and one air conditioner inspection in the spring. The other benefits to the plan are %15 discounts on parts, service calls and labor. Service plan customers also receive priority scheduling and special discounts on accessories such as humidifiers and thermostats. We update our website often and on the site, you will find coupons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work like detectives! Heartland technicians need a full past history of your equipment to make a good diagnosis. Past issues such as adding refrigerant to your air conditioner is important to know because that indicates a leak.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Heartland requires all service technicians and installers to attend 2-6 hours of training courses per month. We travel as far as Canton for training if it is appropriate. Continued education is priority at Heartland.
