- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
* Make sure you are dealing with a bona fide company * Ensure the service provider is properly bonded and insured * Check references to verify credibility with the local Better Business Bureau http://www.centralohio.bbb.org/ to see if there are any complaints against the company *Review their business credentials with the secretary of state business filing portal http://www2.sos.state.oh.us/pls/bsqry/f?p=100:1 * Ask the company for proof of general liability insurance, bonding insurance and their worker'Âs compensation certificate. You would hate to be at a loss if your property gets damaged or stolen and you cannot get reimbursed for it. You may find yourself in the middle of a lawsuit if an employee of the company you hired gets hurt inside your home and they do not have the proper coverage
