I am so happy with this company and what they did for our family. Having our dog trained was literally life changing and our dog will forever be changed. We received frequent updates, prices well, and our dog came back completely different. We can not thank Andy and Down Range K9 more!!!!!!

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We offer a 3 week puppy (0-6 mo) program at $1500. This focuses on setting your puppy up to be a well socialized and friendly dog as it ages. We focus on socialization, exposure, manners, and basic obedience. Dogs (6 mo and older) we offer a 3-4 week board and train program at $2000. This is a flat fee and there are no additional charges. This includes the 3-4 weeks board and train, tools utilized that we find beneficial (they come home with your dog), follow up sessions, and the ability to call us at any time if you have any issues for the life of the dog. During these sessions we work on any behavioral issues, basic obedience, calling the dog back to you, and leash manners. When we speak with you we are very specific in asking your goals for training so we can ensure we are addressing your primary issues.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We like to start with a phone call to discuss the reasons you are seeking a dog training program. We talk about your goals for training and any issues you have been having with your dog. We like to be available to answer any questions or concerns that you have about sending your dog somewhere for 3-4 weeks. Our #1 question is always "Will my dog forget us" and the very easy answer is NO. Dogs know their pack/their family and 3-4 weeks is not that long for them. Dogs do not realize time like humans do so they very easily integrate right back into their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Down Range K9 trainers have focused their studies through online programs, mentors, seminars, books, and podcasts. We have been training dogs for multiple years and have experienced a multitude of behavioral issues. We have 3 main trainers at this time and we all utilize each others expertise to help bring the best out of the dogs we train. We are true believers that in this business experience and time is irreplaceable. Our learning never stops and we do take pride in our continuous learning opportunities.
