Lisa gave us valuable tools to work with our dogs. They made sense and were very effective. The best part? She didn’t drag the training on with multiple sessions. We met with her twice and we were good to go!

We had a wonderful experience, using Lisa for our puppy training. We started our puppy, Hank, out being trained very young to hopefully prevent bad behaviors. Lisa said that Hank was the youngest dog that she had ever trained professionally. He absolutely loved Lisa and was very responsive to her from day one. She was able to teach him commands even during the first visit! Her willingness to try several different techniques was wonderful. He had social anxiety around taking walks and other dogs, so she even brought her puppy one day to help him get used to it—and it worked! I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone wanting help with training, especially young dogs.

Lisa is fantastic. She changed the life of my pup Mandy. I had 2 Boston terriers Penny age 7 and Bev age 5. I adopted Penny in Southern Ca and brought her with me when we moved to Ohio to be near my son.
Penny had a great friend in Ca and was lonely so we adopted Bev from the Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue group. We were all so happy.
Then Penny had a grand mal seizure on February 13, 2025 and went to heaven. We were a close family and Bev and I were deeply saddened.
After month of grief I decided to adopted a new pup for Bev & me. I contacted the Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue and they had a list of dogs to adopt. Each dog had a story.
Mandy had lived her life at an amish puppy mill. I felt immediate compassion for her so we adopted her.
We drove to Dayton and brought Many home
on March 9.She was so scared. The first week she just ate her food.
As the weeks went by she was still so scared. I asked for advise from MWBTR, which they gave me, time & patience. I talked to them each day. They did not know any trainers in Columbus.
I looked on the net and found Thumbtack and saw a listing for L & S. I contacted Lisa and gave her the history.
She responded quickly and came over a few days later. Mandy was still so scared she would not let me pick her up, but Lisa was so calm she had Mandy in her arms by the end of the day.
Lisa gave me homework and came each week.
Mandy started to get a little less scared each week as Lisa gained her confidence. Each week Lisa taught me how to gain Mandy’s trust.
Then we took Mandy to the dog park and Mandy had such a good time. We were so
happy. Lisa knew how make Mandy calm.
Two days later Lisa taught Mandy how to walk with a leash. The next day I took Mandy for a walk.
Lisa saved a sad pup’s life. Mandy has started to trust me.
Lisa is always on time. The one hour sessions were perfect for Mandy.
Bev liked Lisa too. Lisa taught me how to use Bev to make Mandy feel loved.
I am so happy to have found Lisa. She is an answer to my prayers.

Lisa was very attentive with me and my two little doggies. She gave me some good training advice to start with and it worked in a few days with consistency. I would recommend this pro you won’t be disappointed.

This was our first meeting and Lisa had my dog doing the basics like touch, down and wait in no time at all. I’ve hired her and we’ve already set up our next session
