Tasana at Northstar is currently training my two dogs Zeus(whippet/boxer cross) and Zoey (Shar-Pei). They are in day classes and have both come so far in such a short while. She's been very good at adapting her approach to the different breeds. I also like the communication; periodically I'll get little progress videos of my pups nailing a lesson and I really like that. She seems like she pushes the animals but doesn't overwork them, which I appreciate. Both my dogs are very excited to go to 'dog school's in the mornings and sleep well at night. Overall I'm very pleased that my dogs 'have manners' now and are much better behaved.

I have a stubborn shitzu/Yorkie mix dog. I have had him 4 years and not had much luck training him. He barked at everything , did not come when called, did not respond to no. Now he will comes when I say let’s go, he knows place, and the word no. He barks way less. He will sit and lay down. He will also walk in heel. I am very pleased with the training. I didn’t think it was possible.

I knew we needed help! Training was a must. My 50lb+ 6 month puppy but going to be a big girl and her jumping up on us and constant desire to bite when playing was going to hurt her if we didn’t jump on it now. I was super worried though to contact a training center. I had heard the nightmares of big brand companies and was sure that private lesson would be out of my price range to board and train. When we finally contacted Tasana it was such a breath of fresh air. She is very down to earth, gave us the time to talk through all our questions and worked with us for a plan that fit not only Nievs training needs but also our budget. It has been over a month since our puppy jumped on anyone and all our friends and family can tell what a huge difference the training has made. My favorite part is the ability to communicate with my dog and have her understand what I’m asking. It was 100% worth it and we will be a repeat customer from now on.

I have been working with animals for over 17years. I have completed and passed animal management, basic Obedience, beginner agility from northwest career center 2004 I have completed and passed basic Obedience, advanced obedience, canine behavior and learning theory from Paradigm K9 2021.
